Here's the announcement everyone has been waiting for!

The 2012 State Convention, which is our 10th since our founding in 2003, will be held in the Georgia State Capitol's Senate Chamber.

As usual, we will be holding elections for our Executive Board offices. It is expected that the offices of Chairman, 1st Vice Chairman, 2nd Vice Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer will be available, along with the possibility of the return of the North and South Vice Chairman positions. Candidates can declare for office at any time, though all nominations will officially be made on the convention floor. If you would like to know the election procedures and traditions, please email Kyle (kyleconstable@gatrs.org).

Registration will begin at 1:30pm on Saturday and the convention will start promptly at 2pm. There are no fees for delegates or guests at this year's convention. Please be sure to enter the Capitol through the basement door on Mitchell St. Parking is located in the parking deck across from the Captiol at the corner of Mitchell St. and Capitol Ave.

Our primary sponsor and keynote speaker is State Senator David Shafer. Brian Donegan, the founder and Chairman of the Can-Do Conservatives of America, will also speak. Additional speakers will be announced as the convention draws closer. Chapter Chairs will be contacted about delegates to the convention sometime within the next two weeks. If you haven't already submitted your membership form, please do so quickly so that you will be eligible for delegates to the convention.

I look forward to seeing everyone in Atlanta in June!

Sincerely,
Chairman Kyle Constable
